Master Peace - Veronica

Unverkennbar erinnert Master Peace’s neuster Song „Veronica“ an längst vergangene Indie-Rock-Zeiten der Nullerjahre.

Unmistakably, Master Peace's latest song "Veronica" is reminiscent of bygone indie rock times of the aughts. Just as The Strokes, Bloc Party, or the Arctic Monkeys have already taken us into the emotional worlds of young people, Master Peace in "Veronica" is already strongly reminiscent of this earlier striptease of the soul. The drive in "Veronica" is so energetic and intoxicating that it already smells suspicious of guitar rock revival here. Those who enjoyed indie rock music at the turn of the millennium may find themselves with watery eyes and goosebumps when listening to "Veronica."

So far, Master Peace's song catalog isn't huge, but his latest releases suggest that we can hope for a new star on the alternative indie rock scene. Master Peace's songs were initially oriented towards slightly more generic softer rock pop sounds, but with "Veronica" or his previously released single "Country Life" he seems to have found his musical formula, which makes you want more, much more.
