Wunderhorse - Morphine

The current music year is clearly marked by the return of indie rock. Numerous exciting and innovative artists and debut works can be heard worldwide - including the debut album of the four-piece band project Wunderhorse. Started as a solo project, the band project quickly became an ambitious project of frontman Jacob Slater. On their debut "Cub" the band lyrically explore the inner workings of a youth in Great Britain.

If you understand the music on "Cub" as such, the song "Morphine" represents an intense conclusion to this journey and deals with the theme of the same name in an absolutely emotional way in a way that probably few can. A brilliant finale of a first work, which attunes the signs of the future for Slater and Wunderhorse to golden years. Wunderhorse demonstrate that they are one of the most exciting new indie bands on the British indie scene and have what it takes to become a global hit with their brilliant debut.
