Stockmann Drummer

Since forming my first band at 14, I've played in numerous bands and had some really cool experiences with lots of great people, all while having a lot of fun. From big band, blues, rock, and rockabilly to German-language artists and cover bands, I've played it all. In recent years, I've rediscovered the joy of practicing (within reason :)) and also the desire to keep up with the times, to play modern grooves and more current songs with a contemporary sound. That's why I'd like to try playing something in the groovy, poppy, perhaps jazzy indie/neo-soul/funk-pop vein. German songs are welcome too. What I'd really like is a band in the style of Theo Katzmann, Lawrence, Couch, Melt, Vulvpeck, Busty and the Bass, etc. I have no idea if anyone out there likes that or even knows what that is :). And "band" can mean many things: maybe recording, having different lineups, or jamming. Oh yeah, I've always had the utmost respect for people who write their own songs. I'd gladly do it again, provided the music appeals to me.
