Bassist seeks new challenge

I'm looking for a new challenge in an ensemble or combo as a bass player. Styles: Everything except metal, hard rock, funk, traditional jazz and pure beer tent music. About me: - I'm now in my sixth decade of life and am looking for a formation with musicians of a similar age (mid 40s to early 60s). - My skills: - Playing from notes, lead sheets or by ear is no problem. - I don't like hitting and breaking the strings and have therefore never practiced it. - I always play sitting down, with a plectrum and gloves. - Level: probably semi-professional Note: I don't consider weekly rehearsals "just for fun" without any concrete performance opportunities or prospects.
