Christopher Meyepa Bass player

Electric bassist and teacher Christopher Meyepa hails from Mauritius, where he grew up in a musical family. He discovered the bass at the age of thirteen before studying classical guitar and electric bass at the Frédéric Chopin Conservatory in Mauritius, and later at the HEMU in Lausanne. Active on the international scene, he performs regularly in Switzerland and has toured in France, the UK, and Mauritius. Comfortable in a wide range of styles, Christopher collaborates with diverse artists and projects, from musical theatre and jazz to contemporary music, including Elsandy, Lamine and the Foulfayda, Frer Duo, Fred Bintner, Franco and the Musicman, and the JLC Quartet.
