About

I play Cajon - also as a small drum set - and frame drums.

Percussion has been an important hobby since my youth.

I used to play congas and djembe in various formations, also in a big band (Frameinggreen Bigband, Eifel, Germany).

As a hand drummer, you can find great rhythmic sources in many other cultures, such as the Balkans, the Middle East, Spanish flamenco, etc.

So I'm also interested in odd music and rhythm styles that are rather unusual for Central Europe.

I'm a big fan of Vicente Amigo and Rabih Abou Khalil. But I also like to listen to Sting or Peter Gabriel.

At the moment I'm looking for a small group of fellow musicians here in the Zurich area who also want to build up something in the direction of world music. It remains to be seen what can be done from this - if it succeeds - (playing at events or small concerts). Above all, it is important to me to enjoy playing together, finding your own interpretation as a group, trying things out.

I have a small music room where acoustic instruments can be played during the day. But I also like coming to other games.

A flute player is already there, so there are two of us and we are looking for .... you
