Northern Songs Band

Hello, the two of us (guitar and vocals) want to play exclusively Beatles songs in a trio, acoustically, not always unplugged. Unfortunately, "Paul," who actually played bass in addition to vocals, has now had to leave us. Because we believe it's very difficult to find a singing bassist, and harmony vocals are our absolute focus anyway, we are currently looking for a singer for both lead and harmony vocals. The song material spans all phases of the Beatles. There are songs that seem particularly interesting to us, including a few well-known ones, of course. We are certainly creative in our arrangements from time to time, but always strive to convey the original vibe at the highest possible level. Songs like "If I fell," "This boy," "She said, she said," "Nowhere Man," or "Stawberry Fields forever" should suit you and be fun. We're well-equipped on the guitars – we can also imagine executing the project as a four-piece (with a bassist who doesn't contribute vocals). The project is ambitious, but not primarily professional. Our medium-term goal is to play live regularly. Initial experiences confirm that our idea is VERY WELL-received by a broad audience. Since we're acoustic and can adjust the volume, this opens up other possibilities besides traditional stage performances, such as performances at corporate events, private parties, and the like. The name "Ticket-to-ride" is old and we don't like it. Something new is coming – presumably "Northern Songs," the music publisher the band founded in 1963 and which published all the Beatles songs.
