HI,
I'm Ben, 41 years young. I've been playing guitar/bass since I was 7 or 8, I'm not quite sure (self-taught), and I've been singing in my band Anodyne since I was 14.
I've also been active in other bands from time to time, but Anodyne has always remained my main band. Which is less due to our productivity than more to the fact that we are "quasi" family. Even if we spend 99% of our time in the rehearsal room, in the almost 25 years that this band has existed, a kind of weekend chillout beer drinking and making music mentality has emerged.
A few years ago I also started The Rivers, a project where I wanted to play all my Anodyne songs unplugged, with fellow musicians who are there as long as they have the time and inclination for the whole thing. I would like to pursue this project more intensively if there are musicians (please no professionals, I'm not myself) who can get enthusiastic about it. It would be very important to me to create new songs together.
