Shanty-Chor Celle von 1997 e.V. Choir

For 28 years, the motto of the Celle Shanty Choir of 1997 e.V. has been "Bringing joy through singing." The choir currently has 23 active singers, including four women. The singing is accompanied by three accordions and a bass guitar. We sing sea shanties in German, Low German, and English. Well-known far beyond the borders of Celle, we sing songs of the coast, wind, and sea. Performances at charitable and social institutions, private celebrations, and festivals are among our activities.
