Pete F. Gesser Singer

Pete F. Gesser... ...was born in 1959, has been making music for 50 years and has had the “classic” musical experience of an autodidact. Beginnings in the school choir and later as a teenager I quickly realized that with a guitar and a little melt in your voice you can end up with the opposite sex. He gained his first band experience with the formation Part One in Gelsenkirchen and with the Trio Pianoices in Marl. For 20 years now he has been the singer, guitarist and blues harp player in the charity band Löwenherz, which collects donations for charitable projects with a classic rock program and the “Ruhrballaden” set. The biggest performance was as the opening act for Sarah Connor and Alphaville, a 45-minute open-air gig in Marl in front of 10,000 spectators. Pete's musical role models are Pink Floyd, U2, Coldplay, Eagles, ‎Steven Wilson, Stoppok, Georg Danzer, Wolfgang Ambros and Hubert von Goisern. In his first life, he worked with his company GESSER.biz as an independent management consultant, trainer, coach and author of specialist books in the financial services sector. He volunteers as a cultural politician in the Recklinghausen district and in the Lions organization. Pete is responsible for the youth music culture sponsorship award MarLeo, which has been awarded to young artists and bands in the northern Ruhr area since 2013.
