Hansen Band

I (49, vocals/guitar/songwriting/lyrics) am currently sitting here without a band and playing around with my songs, but that's not a permanent situation. So I'm generally looking for people who are interested in relatively minimal, rather dark/cynical/angry/tragic post-punk with a cool attitude (i.e. without posing around). The details can be very multifaceted. There are a whole bunch of existing songs that can be built on, but don't have to. Here are a few bands that roughly outline the possible "thinking space" of influences. Frustration, Swans, Fleeende Sturm, Joy Division, EA80, Shock Therapy, Tommi Stumpff, Karies, Abwärts, Sleaford Mods, The Kills, Killing Joke, The Cure, Sisters of Mercy, She Wants Revenge, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, IAMX, Skinny Puppy, Misfits (until the early 80s), Samhain, Placebo, Fehlfarben, Neurosis, Christian Death, Big Black, Fetus, Butthole Surfers, Exploit ed Nails, the horrors, Zola Jesus, O Children, Stooges, Phillip Boa, Suicide, Chelsea Wolfe, DAF, Cassandra Complex, Nitzer Ebb, Pigface, Grauzone, Notwist, Black Angels, Hunting Lodge ... If you know and like some of these and perhaps recognize a "common thread" despite all the differences between the bands listed, we already have a solid basis. The line-up is completely open - I could even imagine a duo. Theoretically it could go in a more electronic direction or with the usual band means. So if you play an instrument halfway decently or want to learn in "learning by doing" mode, I would like to get to know you - even if nothing musical comes of it. Basically, mastery on the instrument is not as important to me as a fit personally and in terms of taste. You just have to be up for something new. Your age doesn't matter at all. I'm definitely not looking for someone who "thinks everything is cool" or who likes to use the word "rock" for the music they make and listen to. I'm looking for "like-minded people" - of course that doesn't mean that we have the same taste, but that we have a certain basic attitude towards "alternative music". There is a very nice rehearsal room in the Probstei (just under 30 minutes from Kiel Mitte) and it is well equipped.
