Good morning! After our salsa band broke up after about 21 years, I am now looking for new challenges. Notes are not a problem for me and soloing and improvising is something that suits me and I also enjoy it a lot.
I'm open to many styles of music, but I have a particular soft spot for salsa, samba, soca, latin, reggae, soul & funk, African world music, afrofolk (a mix of afrobeat/higlife/electronics and pop).
But also rock and pop-rock, cover-pop, folk-rock, Irish folk, world music, easy-listening, smooth-jazz, lounge and also trance or ethno appeal to me.
Band experience with many performances and concerts:
- 1988-2012: Flute player with the Hamburg band Tätärä (street band)
- 2005-2007: various guest appearances as a flute player with the Hamburg band Lechterbeck (rock, pop)
- 2005 - 2022: Flute player with the salsa band Un poco Pasatiempo from Schleswig-Holstein
