Kristof Guitarist

Musically, I originally come from hardcore punk, and started as a shouter at the age of 16 without any formal musical training. When a guitarist in my second band left, I was given the guitar, which I have been playing as best I can since my early 20s. Over the years, I have gradually moved from screaming to singing, and my listening preferences today are mainly in the areas of singer-songwriter, indie folk, alt-country and indie rock/pop. I play the ukulele as well as western and electric guitar, and for fun and rudimentary purposes, a bit of ukulele bass and lap steel. Music is an extremely important part of my life and a constant companion, I go to concerts very regularly (mostly in Berlin or Hamburg, because there are so many great things going on in Braunschweig and the surrounding area). After the slow dissolution of my last band, I was most recently in an acoustic duo, but that has since come to an end due to my duet partner having a baby. After many years in bands with a "classic" (and exclusively biologically male) rock line-up, I really liked playing with a female voice, including harmony singing. And so I am now looking for new beginnings...
