Her artistic career began in Egypt as a belly dancer, but it didn't stop there. Back in Germany, she produced her own plays and developed her very own dance style, the "Iso Style," a fusion of belly dance and hip hop. She also wanted to have the right music to go with it, and so her first music production was born. However, she only discovered her very own musical direction in singing when she wrote a rock song on a whim. She got the inspiration and ideas for her subsequent songs from her passion for "hot rock." The dancer initially started out solo and recorded her first songs with studio musicians. In 2012, she founded her first band and released the debut album "Lady Volcano," which included five biker songs. She now has 15 new biker songs in her repertoire. But the oriental rock lady started another project: With Oliver Palotai (Sons of Seasons, Doro Pesch, Kamelot), who composed the first four tracks for the progressive rock album "Falcon's Dream," she combined hard guitar riffs with melodic oriental sounds. The themed album explores the emotions of a refugee. In 2014, she founded her own label. Unfortunately, the band disbanded in 2015. Sonia continued working on the project with composer and keyboardist Roman Voronenko, drummer Oskar Kara, and bassist Milos Krstic. Roman Voronenko composed nine more tracks. She commissioned Stuttgart guitarist Frank Rappke to record the guitar. Oliver Palotai mixed and mastered the album. She shot a music video in Cairo. "Falcon's Dream" was released on August 1, 2018. In 2019, she formed a new lineup with "U9" Uli Lindner: The project9 Band. In August 2019, she released the album "Riding Fever," shot five music videos, and held a live concert at Strandbar 51 in Winterbach in 2019. During the coronavirus crisis, the artist wrote the song "Whatever It Takes." The piece was composed by Roman Voronenko. In 2021, she released her fourth album, "Fire Skull," dedicated to women, and shot the music video "Benz Benz Benz" at the Benz Museum in Ladenburg. In 2022, she produced the music video "Welcome to Qatar" for the World Cup. A new guitarist joined the band, and with her new lineup, she hosted the Smokin' Hot Rock concert on November 18, 2023, at Strandbar 51 in Winterbach. A new drummer joined in 2023. The lineup: Keyboards: Roman Voronenko, Guitar: Wolfgang Kolassa, Bass: Rudi Schürrle, Drums: Alex Schmidt. On February 14, 2024, she released the song "Believe in Love," and in July 2024, the song "Biker to the Bone." The next music video release date is April 29, 2025, for "Asura Mardini." The artist filmed for this video in an Indian temple in February 2025. The song is part of her latest album, "Goddesses," which is scheduled for release in late 2025.
