Having learned guitar since early childhood, Matt Craft quickly made a name for himself as a talented guitarist in the Bremen music scene. His teachers included Holger Larisch and Ulrich Busch. He studied electric guitar, classical guitar, and vocals in Bremen, Rostock, and Berlin. A professional musician, he has participated in various professional projects in classical music as well as rock/pop/jazz, including at the Goethe Theater Bremen. He has numerous studio sessions, CD recordings, jam sessions, releases, and countless concerts in various formations and styles (rock, pop, blues, jazz, classical). Matt Craft is an open person, a consummate musician who is at home in virtually every style and for whom music is a love letter to the guitar. He sounds like "the reincarnation of the sixties, Woodstock, and Monterey" (bluesnews.ch), but also clearly displays his own unique character: The concentrated mix of rock, blues, funk, a touch of soul, and heartfelt ballads showcases Matt's completely original songwriting. Matt shares his love of music and his emotional depth with his band, who, like him, possess a joy of playing and musical class, and Matt knows how to captivate his audience with charm! Matt and his fellow musicians have already played radio and TV shows, sessions, tours and concerts with national and international artists, including TANGERINE DREAM, HAMBURG BLUES BAND and ABI WALLENSTEIN.
