My Musical Journey – A Guitarist in Search of Like-Minded Fellows 🎸 Music has been a part of my life since childhood. Back then, I used a carpet beater as a makeshift guitar. Eventually, things got serious: I learned to play guitar privately and, over time, taught myself a lot. Learning by doing – trying things out, practicing, learning more, and above all, having fun with the music. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to join other bands as a guest musician and play a song or two. I even had the chance to play with Tom Astor once – an experience that will definitely stay with me. What I've been missing ever since, though, is the right musical community. Sometimes I thought I'd finally found the perfect bandmate, but then life got in the way: one musician passed away, another moved away, and once again, our shared musical journey ended faster than it had begun. So, I often ended up being what I jokingly call the lonely star in my music room. 😄 But my love of music has remained! I play acoustic guitar and feel especially at home with country, oldies, and German pop music. My goal isn't to become famous or conquer big stages. I want to make music with people who share the same passion, who enjoy playing together, and with whom I'm on the same wavelength, not just musically, but also personally. That's why I'm looking for like-minded people. People who are keen to make music together, try out songs, maybe even play in front of an audience, and simply have a good time together. And who knows – maybe it will lead to more than just a musical acquaintance. I don't have to be the lonely star in my basement anymore. It would be wonderful to finally find some fellow musicians with whom individual songs can become shared experiences. Because making music together is simply more fun! 🎶
