Manfred Bass player

I'm a so-called "late bloomer" when it comes to learning a musical instrument; more precisely, I started playing electric bass at 64. I spent two years looking for a place to play in a band, and then I finally found one. And in a short time, I was even playing in two bands! :-) I'd now describe myself as a "beginner intermediate," depending on how difficult the riffs are. But as the saying goes, "practice makes perfect," and then even the initially difficult songs are manageable, of course with lots of PRACTICE. At home, I've set up a small music studio with a stage and bought some equipment, so I have everything I need right there, just like being in a band. However, having to play alone all the time (which I did for two long years) really isn't fun. I simply need people around me, even if it's just to chat about this and that. So, now I'd be happy if someone who's had a similar experience or would like to play "LIVE" with others gets in touch. Best regards, Manfred
