Paperthin Fleet Band

We want to establish Paperthin Fleet as a long-term, independent live band, release new music, and gradually build a larger audience. Our goal isn't rapid growth, but rather continuous improvement, writing strong songs, and playing memorable concerts. Our next objective is to play more frequently in clubs, at festivals, and as a support act – initially primarily in North Rhine-Westphalia and beyond. At the same time, we're working on new songs and want to further develop our sound, which lies somewhere between indie and alternative rock. Ultimately, we want to tour regularly with Paperthin Fleet, cultivate our own fanbase, and establish ourselves as a band within the German indie/alternative scene.

We currently rehearse regularly in Münster, usually once a week. Before concerts or during more intensive songwriting phases, we meet more often if needed.

Atmospheric indie/alternative rock with catchy melodies, emotional lyrics, and a blend of quiet, vulnerable moments and powerful, dynamic passages. Our songs move between indie rock, alternative rock, and melodic pop-rock – with influences from Nothing But Thieves, Editors, Coldplay, and Touché Amoré.

Besides music, we all have regular jobs, studies, and everyday lives – and that's often where the themes that later end up in our songs come from. When we're not rehearsing, writing, or playing live, we spend time with friends, go to concerts, listen to a lot of music, and try to clear our heads every now and then.
