Jonas Trombonist

Hi everyone, a friend and colleague and I are putting together a capable band for live gigs. We played together last season in a really strong project band, which unfortunately no longer exists. Since we've both been playing gigs for quite some time now, and we also love arranging and composing, we thought we'd try putting together our own stage band. :) We're both trained in jazz and popular music, with him leaning more towards bebop/hard bop and me feeling most comfortable with swing and funk, which by no means implies that our repertoire is limited to those genres. The ideal lineup: Horns - Trumpet, Trombone (Me), Alto Sax (Him), Tenor/Bari-Sax; Rhythms - Piano, Drums, Bass/Electric Bass, possibly Guitar; Vocals - everyone should be able to sing a little ;) So if YOU feel addressed and are looking to make music and perform in a relaxed but professional environment, feel free to contact me and we can discuss everything else.
