Hi, I (40, from Kiel) am looking for people to join me in a new hobby music project and for creative exchange. I'm less interested in forming a traditional band and more in creating a space for exploration. Somewhere between jamming, creative exchange, sound development, and collaborative creation. What appeals to me: - Experimenting instead of just going through the motions - Developing my own sound instead of copying existing ones - Curiosity before results - A creative process instead of just rehearsing - Thinking about emotion, language, and music together - Being able to leave things unfinished - Seeing what emerges without having to force anything Musical style: - Still consciously open - Searching for my own sound instead of fitting into an existing category - Less looking back, more exploring - Not simply copying what's known or familiar - But finding out what could emerge from it today Who I'm looking for: - Instruments open for now - Singer, guitarist, drummer, keyboard, bass, electronic or acoustic instruments - Mindset more important than role - Interest in atmosphere, dynamics, arrangement, overall sound, and ideas - A bit nerdy, curious, and slightly obsessive wouldn't hurt What I'm not looking for: - A cover band - Putting together a setlist as quickly as possible - "We need five finished songs by month X" - Immediate gig pressure - Just mindlessly playing an instrument Concerts later? Not out of the question. But not the starting point. My background: - Played music intensively as a hobby until my mid-twenties - Main instrument was always keyboard - Keyboard, band, choir direction, and arrangements - Hobby projects with band, choir, and orchestra - Then a long break - Recently experimenting again with bass, guitar, drums, and saxophone - For some time now, I've noticed that I miss music again - I'm not a professional myself, but rather someone with previous experience and a long break.
