The Capiluns Band

According to their band info, the declared goal of the new formation "The Capiluns" is to revive Jülich's rock city. At their concert in the Kulturbahnhof pub, they proved that the trio of Paul Kulig, Ole Schlüter and Jonas Pauli absolutely has what it takes.” Arne Schenk wrote about the young band in Herzog Magazin in November 2021.
The Capiluns were formed at the end of 2020 from the members of two bands. The songwriting started immediately, which, inspired by bands like QOTSA or At the Drive In, promises an explosive mixture, especially live.
Hard drums paired with catchy, almost danceable bass melodies ensure a stable basic structure. In addition, there is a guitar that does not follow the bass, as is usual in punk, but also has one or the other arpeggiated run in the style of 80s post-punk guitarists.
The singing is often reminiscent of music from that time.
And with this music from the small town it should now also go to the big cities!
