Timo Bass player

I've been making music my whole life. Initially as a guitarist and singer, later as a bassist and singer in rock and metal. I have songwriting, band, and choir experience and I'm always eager to broaden my horizons. Of course, I have a soft spot for rock and pop classics, but I'd also like to incorporate other influences—progressive, if you will. It can be anything: soulful, jazzy, heavier, softer. The times we live in are complex, and music should reflect that. The contrast: straightforward and simple is just as welcome. On bass, I'm far from where I want to be and can't cover everything. But I'm learning and, if necessary, I'll find my own way. Substance is just as important to me as playing and development. If the feeling and the harmony are right, I can feel at home in many different scenarios.
