Soprano Noir Songwriter

Hi, I'm Soprano Noir! (Valérie) I bring lyrics and emotions together. As an active choir singer (soprano) and amateur musician (I play a little piano and ocarina), I have a keen sense for harmonies, rhythm, and melodies. Since I prefer to leave the complex rock production to the professionals on the instruments, I concentrate fully on songwriting and seek my musical counterpart there. My style & influences: I'm fascinated by melancholic, dark, and highly emotional sounds. My lyrics move within the realms of alternative rock, post-punk, and indie rock. My biggest inspirations are bands like Placebo, Muse, Madsen, and many more, who master the perfect balance between vulnerable piano and powerful guitar riffs. What I bring to the table: My lyrics are my emotional diary. I write in German – unvarnished, profound, and straight from the heart. My repertoire ranges from intimate, personal emotions to socially critical topics. My current song, "Behind Your Facades," is already fully structured (verses, chorus, bridge, outro) and deals with the current political situation in a highly emotional way. It's rhythmically optimized for a rock arrangement. What I'm looking for: bands, guitarists, pianists, or producers who are interested in turning my finished concepts into real songs. I'm currently looking for a different microphone for the powerful rock lead vocals, but I can potentially incorporate beautiful, melancholic backing vocals (soprano) in the studio.
