Guitarist is looking for a slightly different cover band

Hello! I (guitars and background) are looking for musicians for a new cover band or an existing band. Musically, I'm open to almost anything (except blues and death, speed, trash!)... I find pop, rock and funk the most moving. Below I'll name a few mixed up ones without evaluation that take me with them. But since I hear and like a lot more than that, I'm open to a lot. I would also like it if as many women as possible got in touch, because then it would be nicer (and the rehearsal room wouldn't stink that much! ;o) ) I've been playing for a long time myself, but I wouldn't call myself a pro at all. (I'm not fast, but I usually know what I'm doing) More important are feeling and groove/rhythm. From my point of view, a piece does not have to be 100% re-enacted. I often find that even more exciting. There are already numerous examples of covers that just kick because they are different and sometimes even better than the original. (On the web: Scary Pockets, Pomplamoose, Steven Seagal, walk of the World, Leo Morachioli*,...). Instruments: everything! So not only electrically or not only acoustically - variety also makes it more exciting for the listener. And the instruments can also be exchanged with each other... Regarding my ambitions: Music is an important hobby for me, because you can let yourself go with it so beautifully. Of course, family and work have a completely different meaning. Nevertheless, I think that you should approach such a hobby ambitiously. After all, it's also a passion, and that's why dedication and sincerity matter. Sometimes there may not be enough time to prepare or rehearse comprehensively, but you should want to. (if you love at least five of them, you should get in touch! Then you probably have a lot of ideas now... *Yes, there are a few exceptions... Regarding distances: I don't shy away from driving a little further, but then the rehearsals should take place more on the weekend (maybe more in the evening.) Dare - just contact us.
