Hey – we're looking for you! – Guitarist from Potsdam or surrounding area. Space Horses Potsdam. We're a psychedelic stoner rock band from Potsdam, sounding like we're stuck somewhere between the early 70s and today's stoner rock. Long intros, driving effects sounds, psychedelic guitar solos, and heavy Rickenbacke basslines are our trademarks. However, we're open to new things; we also like our songs to have a touch of funk rhythms or metal riffs. We have seven to nine original songs. What are we missing? A new guitarist who can play both rhythm and solos. The desire to be part of something that's more than just a hobby project. Stage experience would be nice, but it's not a must. What matters is that the chemistry is right. OUR SETUP - Great atmosphere and respectful interaction - Our own fully equipped rehearsal room in Potsdam - Drum kit with 11 microphones – we can record directly - Our own mixer and monitoring – no fiddling around before every rehearsal - Goal: around ten gigs a year - Album recordings in a studio WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR - Rehearsal once a week – more is always welcome - Practicing parts at home – you know how it works - Enthusiasm and skill for writing new songs - Rhythm and solos – both are essential and we need them. Having a job on the side is perfectly normal and of course no problem. Everyone has a family, vacations, etc. But what should be clear is that a band isn't like a football club you can just do on the side.
