Instrumentalists and singers wanted

GeistReich is an independent band based in Neu-Ulm (rehearsals are held in Neu-Ulm). The band has existed in its current form since the early 2020s, but the members have been playing together for much longer. Due to the departure of two members, we are now looking for new musicians. We are not directly affiliated with any single church, but are part of the Neu-Ulm Pastoral Group. We perform at various churches – from worship evenings to concerts. Musically, we move between contemporary Christian music/praise and secular songs with a Christian or Christian-interpretable message – our interpretation and band sound tend towards rock. Our repertoire ranges from Albert Frey and Christina Stürmer to Taizé, Rend Collective, and Uriah Heep. We interpret each song in our own way and are not a cover band. What's important to us is: a love of playing, reliability at rehearsals and performances, and openness to growing together musically and in all areas. A bit of rock 'n' roll is a plus, but passion and enjoyment of playing are more important than perfection. Rehearsals currently take place every Wednesday from 6:15 pm.
