NUMBER WITH NO NAME is looking for a BASSist with backing vocals.

(English see below) Ideally, you are from the Euregio and – like us – open-minded and cosmopolitan. Humor and fun are just as important to us as depth and passion for music. Our songs can sometimes exceed the 6-minute limit and we don’t allow ourselves to be pigeonholed. Awareness and sensitivity are very important to us – and not just in a musical sense. Our goals: • To hold regular, weekly rehearsals. • To enjoy what we do and to spread the “good (...at least most of the time – but also the occasional critical or provocative) word”. • To rehearse current material, arrange new songs and, of course, play live! Creativity, authenticity, modesty and the heart in the right place are sometimes the prerequisites for creating and making music together. We're looking for a genuine bassist who knows their craft, because the legacy our bassist has left behind over the past nine years is substantial – and we want to reproduce it as accurately as possible in the existing songs (approx. 20). At the same time, we're open to transformation and creative interpretations, as long as they serve the song – because we want everyone to feel comfortable, find their place, and be able to contribute their own touch to become part of the whole. Good timing, reliability, and professionalism are required – and if, in addition to backing vocals, you also play double bass (preferably with a bow) and/or can play a mini keyboard, you're definitely one of our Most Wanted Bass Players! :-D A well-maintained, smoke-free rehearsal room is available in Hauset (B). We all use in-ear monitoring, by the way. Even though we pursue music "only" as a private hobby, we still achieve some success on a semi-professional level – for example, making it onto the Belgian Broadcasting Corporation's radio program with a radio edit in 2021. We've also been able to play numerous stages in the region, including the Kimiko Festival, the atmospheric Waldbühne at the Köpfchen border crossing between Germany and Belgium, and the renowned Monday concert series in the Aachen Cathedral cellar. Band history: It all began in 2010 when Phil started looking for fellow musicians to finally bring his songs to life – and found them. In 2013, the whole thing got a name: Number With No Name. Named after a song by a musician who particularly inspired Phil musically – from then on, it was clear: Number Without a Name was born. Who does what in our band? Also responsible for songwriting, arrangements & groove - as well as artwork, graphic and web design aaaand the Holy Merch :-D Thomas Lausberg - drums & percussion. Not only brings the rhythm with his beats, but also fresh ideas for the arrangements & groove. Martin Brachmann - electric bass & background vocals. Provides the low tones and also plays a big part in the arrangements & groove.
