Soul band with maximum lineup
Description
The HORNFLAKES (3 vocalists: 1 female soprano (rock), 1 female mezzo-soprano (soul), 1 male baritone (soul/blues); acoustic saxophone, bass saxophone, trumpet, trombone; keys, guitar, bass, drums; ages 50-65) are looking for an experienced female singer to strengthen our vocal section. Above all, you should enjoy singing and working in a band. A medium to high soulful voice is also required. You will sing lead vocals as well as backing vocals. Our repertoire includes songs by Tina Turner, Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer, as well as Mothers Finest, Rose Royce, and Dusty Springfield. And of course, we're open to anything else you'd like to sing that fits our lineup. What we DON'T do is beer tent party pop music. We play 4-6 gigs a year, rehearse every two weeks in Ingersheim am Neckar, sometimes less frequently, and then, for example, just vocals in Esslingen-Sirnau. Unfortunately, we can't meet financial expectations; a band of this size doesn't make a profit. The gigs cover our expenses. Usually. So why do we do it? Because it's incredibly fun when a band with this lineup really rocks out. You won't find anything like it anywhere else around here. Because we're a great group – besides the music, the personal connection is very important. Just get in touch, and we'll see what happens! www.hornflakes.de
