Over-50s Modern Groove Band Project - looking for like-minded people

Groovy, sophisticated pop, funk, soul, R&B – danceable, song-oriented, modern. No classic rock/blues/metal/bar jazz jam sessions! I'm looking for experienced musicians and singers who are proficient on their instrument or voice, have a good ear for music, and can shape their sound – band history isn't essential. I'm looking for people who aren't really looking for a band anymore, who don't want to go to the party tent anymore, but can't quite give it up either. No pressure to perform, no leadership requirements – the project should develop collaboratively.
