Hello, my name is Leon and I'm looking for a drummer to start a band with. I've been playing the electric guitar for 10+ years. Back then, I immediately felt the need to make my own music and pretty quickly started a band that did well for a while (several gigs a year in the local area, final of the LKA Stuttgart band contest around 2008-2011). Unfortunately, as it happens, it all fizzled out at some point. Since then, I've only been playing at home and collecting ideas on the PC. I miss actively making music and now I want to start something again. I imagine the direction to be somewhere between Mastodon and Opeth. It would be nice to work out ideas with a drummer. Unfortunately, my time is no longer as flexible as it was in 2009, but rehearsing once a week should be possible. Unfortunately, I no longer have a rehearsal room at the moment. What I would like to mention is that a band is very important to me and that I take my music or that of others absolutely seriously and treat it with respect. I like to approach things in a relaxed manner, but with the necessary seriousness. So I don't want to start a "fun" band, but a band with the intention of becoming a household name in the local area. And to do so in a relaxed manner and with a goal! Thank you very much!
