Hello, after years as a bassist and guitarist in indie and punk bands, I founded the project Headtuned in the 90s and shifted my focus more towards keyboards and production, inspired by all the trip-hop bands of the 90s. Even after a long break and reactivating my studio, I've remained true to this direction, although I'm influenced by many musical genres such as indie, folk, chanson, electronica, shoegaze, dub, new wave, Britpop, soul, post-punk, etc. Currently, I'm looking for creative partners, an expressive, emotional, and distinctive voice, and a guitarist who serves the song in the style of Johnny Marr, to create a unique, melancholic form of alternative music with electronic and film score-like sounds. Covers don't interest me. I especially like melancholic songs with female vocals, often acoustic or folk (Agnes Obel, Lana Del Rey, Goldfrapp, Martina Topley-Bird, Birdy, Mogli, Kimbra, Pumarosa, Lamb) or even more extreme, electronic songs like Björk or FKA Twigs. Above all, creative freedom is important to me, and I'm not so much interested in the thrill of performing live, but rather in the opportunity to play with ideas in my small studio near Erding without technical limitations, to realize soundscapes and shared visions, to let songs emerge like film scores for imaginary movies. For this, I'd be looking for people who really enjoy tinkering, refining lyrics, meticulously crafting songs, and who are also open to experimentation.
