22769 Hamburg-Altona – Singer wanted for Rock / Alternative / Crossover. We are a well-established three-piece band consisting of drums, bass, and guitar with backing vocals, and we are looking for a strong frontman for our original material. Musically, we move between modern hard rock, alternative, and crossover – groove- and riff-driven, with influences from Rage Against the Machine, Linkin Park, Grandson, Incubus, and Fever 333. We are looking for a singer who can combine melodic vocals with rap or rhythmic spoken word and is also comfortable with more aggressive, rapped shouting. Expression, character, and strong lyrics are paramount for us. You will primarily be responsible for writing the lyrics – support with the writing process is, of course, possible. The first songs are already written. Band, live, and studio experience, as well as stage presence, would be a plus. Most importantly, we want you to be serious about something, want to contribute musically, and are keen to develop our own sound together. We bring years of band, live, and studio experience, rehearse regularly in a very well-equipped rehearsal space in Hamburg-Altona, and use in-ear monitoring. We can record and develop all pre-production tracks ourselves; samples and backing tracks can also be incorporated into the sound, depending on the song. For gigs, we are mobile with our own band vehicle and all our equipment. The goal: to continue working with our existing material, write new songs, develop a debut album as soon as possible, and then take it into the studio and onto the stage.
