Ich bin ein polnischer Kontrabassist und Komponist aus Krakau und lebe derzeit in Mailand, Italien. Meine Musik schöpft aus slawischen Traditionen, europäischem Jazz und moderner Improvisation und zielt darauf ab, emotional reiche und filmische Klanglandschaften zu schaffen. Nach meinem frühen Studium in Krakau absolvierte ich einen Master-Abschluss in Jazz-Kontrabass am Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Mailand und schloss mit Auszeichnung ab. Meine Veröffentlichung „Everlasting Suite“ aus dem Jahr 2025 verbindet Lyrik, Experimentierfreude und narrative Form und wurde sowohl von der polnischen als auch der internationalen Jazzpresse gelobt. Ich leite und arbeite mit Ensembles in ganz Europa zusammen und betrachte Jazz als Raum für kulturellen Dialog, Introspektion und Geschichtenerzählen.

Music has always been an essential and inseparable part of my life. For me, it’s a way of communicating things I often struggle to express with words, a kind of universal language that speaks directly from the inside out. Through music, I can convey emotions, thoughts, and states of mind that would otherwise remain unspoken. It’s not just what I do; it’s how I process the world around me, how I connect with others, and how I understand myself.

I’d be a double bass - sometimes heavy, but full of depth and warmth. It might take effort to carry, but it's beautiful, supportive, and absolutely worth it.
