Village Green Band

Village Green is looking for a lead guitarist with feeling, sonic imagination, and personality. We're not just a cover band, nor are we a metal/hard rock group. We write our own songs with atmosphere, dynamics, melody, and character – somewhere between art rock, alternative, prog-pop, and classic songwriting. Strong songs are more important to us than self-promotion. Our influences range from Supertramp and Porcupine Tree to modern atmospheric rock and alternative sounds. We're looking for a lead guitarist who: plays melodically and in service of the song, can create sounds and moods, isn't afraid of dynamics and emotion, contributes creatively rather than just copying, and is eager for a genuine collaborative project with original songs. Virtuosity is welcome – but only if it serves the music. We're not looking for constant solos or "higher, faster, heavier," but rather musical intuition, ideas, and personality. Backing vocals would be a big plus, but aren't required. If you're looking for music with atmosphere, character, and a distinctive sound, and not just another generic rock band, we'd love to hear from you. Village Green 🎸
