My name is Andrea Maietta and I am a 29 year old guitarist and singer.
I live and work as a musician here in Berlin, where I live with my wife, daughter and a small dog. My family is from Italy, so I had the opportunity to study in Italy.
2008-2011 I studied singing, dance and acting at the "Star Rose Academy" (private school of the actress Claudia Koll, which is located in Rome).

During my studies I had the good opportunity to meet many famous singers (e.g. Ron, Franco Simone, Amedeo Minghi, Massimo Ranieri, Dagmar Segbers) with whom I studied and worked briefly, and actors. I also sang a lot with Sister Cristina (now the world famous sister) because she was my fellow student at Star Rose Academy.

I have also taken part in various international singing competitions (such as "The ProVoice" where I placed 1st, or "The Good News Festival" where I placed 3rd).

In 2014 I received my diploma at the Conservatory "San Pietro a Majella" in Naples (guitar in the field of jazz).
I constantly work with my Italian and international music in restaurants, private parties, housewarmings, weddings and birthdays. Neapolitan music is also very popular in Berlin, so here I often play the old songs from the Neapolitan culture and I try to translate them into German every now and then to make them understandable.

My performances consist mostly of Italian/German/International music played by me through vocals and guitar, so I'm considered a good entertainer. I would describe myself as friendly, helpful, professional and most importantly a boy in love with good music.
