About
I was born in 1962 – a year that led me towards music at an early age. It all started in 1969 with a small guitar, which was later replaced by a 6-string and a 12-string, and finally by my Gibson Les Paul. As early as 1974, I was playing in my first band as a young musician, surrounded by older colleagues who gave me a surprising amount of room for improvised rock solos. These early experiences laid the foundation for my style and my passion. In the following years, I gained valuable live experience in various school bands. From 1985 to 1987, I was part of Scaramouche, and then from 1991 to 1995, I played with Rock & Co. After moving to the Hamburg area in 1997, the region quickly became my musical home. Between 2009 and 2011, I was a member of Rockport, before co-founding the band Nightrox in 2011. With Nightrox, I experienced some special highlights, including a performance in the courtyard of Veste Coburg (2013) and a concert as the opening act for SAGA at the Fabrik in Hamburg (2016). My current band is called Flashborn – a project that's very close to my heart. With Flashborn, we've already played several shows in Hamburg, including at the Markthalle, and have established ourselves firmly in the local scene. To this day, rock music, the stage, and my guitars remain constant companions – and the creative journey continues.

Creating music and then performing it in front of an audience is truly wonderful. It's even better when the music is well-received and enjoyed, and when the audience really gets into it.
Definitely not the bass drum. That's always kicked ;-) Well, I've always liked the guitar best because you can use it to express yourself. In that sense, I could imagine myself playing electric guitar. Loud on the one hand, but also very soulful.
I wish my band that we release many more songs and that we continue to be successful on stage.
Riding a motorcycle is also very relaxing.
