My studio is private, non-commercial, and not professionally run. Musicians should learn how to prepare for recording in a professional studio. Nevertheless, you can still get decent recordings from me. However, if you rely on your music to earn your living, you'll eventually need a professional studio. However, if you go into a studio without any preparation, it quickly becomes expensive! I was born in 1961. I've been playing a Martin HD28 since the mid-1970s. I've been singing tenor, and playing the harp since 1995. I've now set up a large 10x4m basement room as a band room and a room directly adjacent to the control room. There are seven musicians' workstations, each with three inputs and a stereo monitor output. Drums, various electric guitars, an electric bass, a Hammond M100, a Clavinova, a Yamaha DX7, and a harmonium from 1908 are available. I also have a chembalo and a Martin D12/20, as well as a Rodebald Hoyer archtop "Bolero." My idea is to encourage musicians or bands who played together in bygone days to make music together again. I want them to have time to rediscover themselves and record their songs. Recordings are done with a Zoom Live Track L20 or a Revox A77. The recordings can be taken away and further processed privately. Alternatively, I can take care of the further processing. Very important: The chemistry has to be right, otherwise we won't get along. I don't like techno or rap. Everything from classical to hard rock is welcome. Solo musicians, bands, choirs, brass sections...
