I've been making music in different genres (cover rock, ska, alternative rock, electronic) and settings (band, unplugged, home recording, choir, etc.) for many years. I'm basically always open to new things and like to experiment.
I feel just as comfortable in a live context as in recording sessions, ie it doesn't always have to be the classic live band or ensemble, but you can also meet for a recording project and go your own way again...:-)
