Dirk Renter Drummer

Hello out there, I'm looking for musicians or an existing band who see band life as such and not just another date in the calendar. A dream would be something like Crosby, Stills, Nash, Americana, Eagles. I'm also open to other ideas, but nothing that has already been done 1000 times in one form or another. I'm also open to German and English lyrics. I like singer songwriters like John Mayer, Joni Mitchell, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor, bands like The Waterboys, The Pogues, The Hooters, America, Led Zeppelin, Tonic and Deep Purple (of course). I have 40 years of experience in bands in which we primarily played our own songs and worked through styles from classic hard rock from the 70s and 80s to psychedelic folk rock, soul, funk, blues, gospel, rockabilly and swing and Irish folk rock. What's important to me is transparency instead of mush, variety instead of rigidity, openness and not blinkered thinking. Instruments other than the "classic" ones are an enrichment for me. Good songs that tell stories and not platitudes are important to me. I was in a rockabilly band for 5 years that managed to get a record deal and with which I was able to go on numerous tours in Europe. I was the founder and drummer of the Irish folk-rock band "TIRISCH" and of the SIX FOLKS (medieval hard folk). In addition to the drums, I play western guitar and sing. I also wrote many songs (harmonies, lyrics, arrangements).
