Erik Rehbehn Saxophonist

I am a jazz saxophonist, clarinetist, arranger, and bandleader, and I am passionate about all things "live" – in my life, this particularly includes live music and live events. I am currently studying jazz saxophone at the Nuremberg University of Music and Performing Arts and am a state-certified ensemble and choir director. As an active musician, I participate in various projects, including the cover band Funk Off, the brass band Muckasäck, various big bands, and diverse jazz combos. My focus is on jazz, funk, and pop – as a soloist, in small combos, or as part of a full horn section. In addition to my musical activities, I have extensive experience in event management, brand creation, and artist management. In my previous role as senior project manager for live communications at an event agency and at the Neue Jazzschool München, I was responsible for the management of concerts and events, as well as the strategic marketing of the vocational music school and other brands. But my heart doesn't only beat for live performances; I'm also available for studio work. With many years of experience in arrangements and horn section writing, I offer professional brass section arrangements and custom saxophone recordings for a wide variety of music projects. As a bandleader, I represent the wedding band Funk Off and the SOG Big Band and am always looking for motivated and reliable musicians.
