As a child/adolescent, the pioneers and the music of synthesizers had a strong influence on me in the 80s and shaped my taste in music. The sounds of Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Tears for fears but also the breakdance wave were the main musical influences at the time. Later on, one person in particular influenced me. The unique Torsten Fenslau, who unfortunately died far too early - a successful DJ and producer - who I still consider to this day to be a great inspiration for my/our sound. I started the first musical conversions/productions at the time of the Amiga 500 - back then on the Noisetracker program. The Korg N5 was my first own synthesizer and over the years several models have been added. With this I deepened and expanded my passion for music and expanded my knowledge. I founded Excubitors in 2006 as a response to the fact that I had found music in the black scene – as a last relic – far away from the standard radio price that best suited my musical taste. However, it was clear from the start that I wanted to create something new and different. This individuality is still important to me today.
