I'm FritzeKatze from Mainz
I'm goth, I'm queer, I'm hip,
I'm most of all an uprightbassplayer for nearly 30 years and I'm open for many many styles and genres except
wannabe 'vintage/good 'ole days'-pseudo-authentic stuff. (Pretty hard to find with this instrument)
I'm a political person and the things i represent in a band or on stage need to go in line with my personal values - mostly intersectional/queer-feminism.
I used to live on 50s rocknroll-showband stuff but can not anymore. Nevertheless I would like to find some things to make some money as a musician well (live in capitalism is expensive ?♂️)
I did many things over the years, from rockabilly to swing and blues, different pop acts, chanson, german and italian folk music and of course classical music as well. Nowadays i mostly focus on my two ongoing bands (the Italian folk act and a mostly german singin Singer-Songwriter, pop trio) and recently started to record my original music as a mix of uprightbass, electric guitar and singing along with analog synths and digital drums.
