Gerald Saxophonist

Hello, I have been playing the saxophone and clarinet for 11 and 9 years respectively, neither professionally but fairly advanced. I have some experience with percussion such as cajon, congas, etc. and can also pick up the guitar if necessary. I currently play baritone saxophone in a saxophone quartet I founded and tenor sax in a brass band. I like many different types of music and want to form a band in 2024 that plays a mixture of 50s and 60s jazz, pop songs from that period, chansons, tangos and songs from other cultural backgrounds (Klezmer, Balkan, etc.). A repertoire that can be used in any larger living room without much technology. effort can be played.
I value regular rehearsals and usually prepare for them. The music I play can be simple, but should sound interesting and good. I'm always happy when people dance to or listen to my music. If you find this exciting, please let me know.
