Hey, back in the '90s I (and my bandmates at the time) were really into music. We played as support acts for various bands, including Knochenfabrik, Weakerthans, and Donots. Back then, we were really into skate punk and wanted to sound similar to NOFX, Lagwagon, NUFAN, or Millencolin. The years went by, and time for music varied, but work or family often took precedence. Now I have a bit more time again, and I miss making music. My former bandmates now have kids of their own who have their own bands, but they themselves feel too old or can't bring themselves to do it. I'd love to find like-minded people, ideally around the same age, who are keen to get back into making music. However, these days I'd prefer to play punk with German lyrics. Stylistically, I'm thinking of the early albums by Die Toten Hosen, with influences from bands like the Ramones, Vibrators, Lurkers, Manges, Terrorgruppe, Mimmis, Abwärts, and similar groups. I'd also be interested in musicians who already have a regular band and are open to a side project. It would also be fine if you didn't have a lot of time available; I'm not under any time pressure or anything like that. Anything is better than not starting at all.
