Lorenz Polifke Guitarist

Lorenz Polifke is a young German guitarist, arranger, and composer who grew up in Franconia. After studying classical guitar in Linz, specializing in fingerstyle guitar, he is continuing his studies with a Master's degree in Acoustic Guitar at the Dresden University of Music, which he will complete in the summer of 2026. The stylistic diversity of the instrument is particularly important to him. His repertoire includes his own arrangements of classical pieces, moving arrangements of folk and pop songs, as well as catchy original compositions that bridge these different sonic aesthetics. He has frequently received scholarships to international guitar festivals and attended masterclasses with renowned artists. In January 2026, he served as a juror in the "Guitar Pop" category at the "Jugend Musiziert" regional competition in Kronach. He performs regularly in southern Germany and works as a guitar teacher.
