Marcos Percussionist

Percussionist with experience as a conga player (as main instrument, but not only). Bongo, cajón, timbales, Latin American, African and modern percussion in general. I am also enthusiastic about all new sounds, such as the handpan, udu drums or electronic music and percussion instruments.

I listen and play many styles of music, always using the rhythmic formula of Afro-Cuban and Latin Jazz patterns. I have more than 30 years of experience in orchestras, bands, small projects and as a studio musician for Salsa, Latin Jazz, Latin American Folklore, Rock en Español, Ethno-Fusion, Acid Jazz, Funk and other musical styles.

I also offer my services in drum restoration, leather assembly, painting and varnishing of congas and the various instruments, as well as teaching Latin American and African hand percussion (congas, bongós, cajón, djembe), both in person and online.
