About
We are Falkensang, an Irish folk band from Brandenburg, and we share a passion for the music and stories of Ireland, Scotland, and other folk traditions. With bagpipes, tin whistle, accordion, guitar, and bass, we bring the sounds of folk music to the stage and create unforgettable moments for our audience. Whether it's rousing jigs and reels, well-known folk classics, or soulful ballads, at our performances, everyone sings along, claps, dances, and celebrates together. Because folk music thrives on community, good vibes, and the joy of shared experiences.

Get to know

We want to bring Falkensang back to the stage on a regular basis and bring people together with our music. Our goal is regular performances at city festivals, festivals, medieval markets, and in suitable clubs or pubs. In doing so, we want to develop musically, expand our repertoire, and eventually release our own songs.

Falkensang plays lively Irish folk music with traditional songs, well-known pub tunes, and instrumental pieces. Bagpipes, tin whistle, accordion, bouzouki, bass, and multi-part vocals create a varied sound. Sometimes exuberant and danceable, sometimes quiet and melancholic, but always performed with great enthusiasm and a close connection to the audience.

We usually rehearse once a week, mostly on Fridays. Before bigger performances, we also schedule additional rehearsals if needed.

Then we pursue our careers, families, and numerous other interests. These include sports, aikido, culture, technology, and of course, further musical projects. However, hardly a day goes by without music.
