BLIGHT Band

Blight is a four-piece punk rock band from Cologne that has existed since 2010. After some stylistic changes and a change of formation in 2017, Mische (vocals), Robert (electric guitar), Johnny (electric bass) and Matteo (drums [future electric guitar]) are a well-rehearsed team with a clear motto: right-wing populism , racism, sexism and homophobia with rough riffs, booming bass and lots of speed. Somewhere between skate punk, pop punk and classic punk rock, the four members swim on the stage with stage mascot Sharky and take a stand against a constantly expanding neo-fascist movement. The name says it all: "With our music, the brown ones start to rot!"
