For me, music today is active creation, focus, and emotional support. My journey began during the coronavirus pandemic: I asked my father for a guitar. After an initial lull in the first year, I really caught fire. Regularly practicing scales gave me the foundation for a crucial step: I can now improvise well.
Honestly, there's hardly a time when I don't think about music or actively use it! When I'm not playing guitar or improvising, I need music in the background: It's an indispensable tool for me when studying and working. Music helps me focus, maintain concentration, and get into the flow.
I would be the guitar. It's so versatile: I can "scream" as much as I want and simultaneously improvise complexly with multiple notes—it's the perfect mix of Eric Clapton and the Beatles. It offers maximum creative freedom.
