Mikey C. Guitarist

Hey everyone, I'm Mikey! I'm 22 years old and looking for people aged 21-30 who are interested in starting a rock/alternative band, maybe (but it doesn't have to be) with some new wave/sinthe influence, or who might be looking for a singer and guitarist. I've been playing guitar for about 7-8 years, I had a teacher for many years and learned a lot during that time. I write my own songs! So, I already have song material. Since my old band and I broke up, I'm looking for people who want to continue my band OVERDOSE. There's an hour of material, and we can definitely write more together! We already have a Spotify account, as well as SoundCloud and Instagram. What I'm thinking of doing is playing lead guitar and doing main vocals. I can scream/shout a bit and like to incorporate that into the songs sometimes, if it fits, but not too much, haha. I like to experiment a little. I've played a lot of gigs with my band, whether in bars, festivals, or street fairs—I absolutely love playing everywhere! Spreading good vibes and, most importantly, showcasing our music! That means I already have a lot of stage experience :) We've also been in the studio a few times and recorded some songs. One of them is on Spotify and it's called BURNED ALIVE by OVERDOSE. I'd love to find people who are eager to experience a lot, want to put their energy into it, stick together, want to make it big, and want to play in other cities and have a blast! :D I'd also think it would be super cool to produce music videos and release albums!!! I'm super motivated to give it my all and I'm looking for people who have the same passion as me and are just as motivated to start an amazing project together and stick with it through thick and thin!! I'd also be really happy if we were good friends outside of the band, for example... We can also do things together outside of work 😆 My musical influences come from bands like Green Day, my absolute favorite band, with whom I've even shared the stage, but as a fan ^^ I also really enjoy listening to Motionless in White, Slipknot, The Network, Linkin Park, Asking Alexandria, Ice Nine Kills, I Prevail, and lesser-known bands like Foxboro Hot Tubs or The Longshot. I'd find it interesting if someone could play the keytar; it's often used in new wave. It would be really cool to mix alternative rock with new wave, but I'm also open to standard genres ;) So, that was a bit more text than I intended 😂 If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message!
